If you’re going to Jamaica and want to immerse yourself in the culture you have to check out the Culture and Entertainment tours INSTAGRAM: culture_tours_ja! Travis is amazing, instantly made me feel comfortable and safe. He’s very knowledgeable, and put together the perfect tour blended with tourist attractions to local spots that allow you to really learn about the ways of the culture.

US dollars are equally used with local Jamaica dollars. In most cases it is more cost effective to pay with local currency because the currency rate is randomly set by merchants. It’s better to take US dollars in small bills, the smaller the better. And forget about large bills such as fifty or one hundred because you won’t receive any change. It is not worth taking euro with you because its rate is set too low.
