Things to do: have a look at the fort up at the hill, there is also a modern art museum by it which is also meant to be worth a look, Oh and there is a glass elevator to bring you back up to the centre of town which is pretty cool :) If you’re stuck on what to do have a look around the catacombs too, €5 euro for a ticket, Scott’s Pub which in the Grund was also a good spot with plenty of life and charm and they also had drink offers on

If hostelling it in Luxembourg I suggest staying in the city youth hostel, it’s about 30 mins walk from the central station or 10 mins on a bus which are frequent enough, the stop to get off is Plateau Altmunster, they do Free breakfast and have plenty of showers and toilets, beds are comfy too

If you don’t want to stroll, travelling by bus will be the cheapest and the most convenient option for you. For reference: a 1-day pass costs 4,6 euros whereas a taxi costs 1 euro for boarding and 0,65 euro/km.
