Planning your travel outside zone A (is exclusively administered by the Palestinian Authorities), be aware that you will spend much time to cross checkpoints. And ask in advance which roads will be open for Palestinian transport. That’s the thing to remember when you are renting a car.

The best way to travel to Palestinian territories is by using the services of tourist agencies. This tour can be bought in Israel. On Palestinian territories there are unique holy sites and Israel residents support travels to this region. So, if you make up your mind to order a tour, the authorities will send all information to the Palestinian administration and that will make your travelling much easier.

If the tourist wants to travel to Palestinian territories by himself, it will be convenient to plan the route across the Jerusalem border to Bethlehem. Route buses run between cities and the travel will take about an hour. Or you can take a taxi with a fixed fare agreed before the ride.
